Basil Slam
BIOGRAPHY
The ten-strong Basil Slam have known one another for several years through playing in or being friends with various London-based bands. However, this is the first time that they have ever played together as a group. They wrote and recorded the majority of the material for "Sketches of the Stolen West" over the course of a weekend (24th/25th February) on a 4-track cassette machine in an empty warehouse in North London. They also invented a new cocktail, the 'Basil Slammer'.
